A piece of my world
Standing in that field, I met a version of myself I had never been introduced to, and I loved her immediately.

I was a newly licensed skydiver with a helmet that still looked too clean when I boarded a train out of Barcelona toward a small village to the north. No cell service. A map I had downloaded the night before. Friends back in the city, but no one beside me. I told myself I wasn't alone. In every way that mattered, I was, and I went anyway.
The plane held six of us. As we climbed, I could see the peaks of Montserrat rising in the distance, and then the door opened and there was nothing between me and all of it. I remember the jump. I remember the landing more. I have been chasing the person I met in that field ever since.
That chase is not glamorous. It meant unlearning habits I had carried for years, dismantling behaviors that had kept me small. It was during that unmaking that I found yoga, and with it something I had never practiced: stillness. Moving a little slower. Becoming aware of myself from the inside rather than through anyone else's eyes.
The range came later, on a date. He took me shooting, and I fell in love. With the range, if I'm being honest. The focus it demands, the calm it rewards, the seriousness of handling something powerful with respect. I never left.
Before any of this, I was a girl from a small town who never quite fit. Different, but not in the way anyone found intriguing. Different in the way that gets you called weird. I know what it is to stand at the edge of a room and wonder whether there is a place for you in it.
Sixty-Four is my answer. I built it as a room where different is the whole point: a safe space to find joy in exploration, to try the thing you have been curious about, to be brave in good company. Chess, yoga, the range, a long table, an open sky. A piece of my world, offered to yours.
Come meet the version of yourself you haven't been introduced to yet.
